What payment methods do you accept?
We accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and Stitch Express - a secure, modern payment gateway that accepts major cards and Capitec Pay. Your banking details for EFT will be displayed on your order confirmation once your order is placed.
Can I collect my order and avoid a courier fee?
Yes, free collection is available from Tiger Lily Tots, 62 2nd Avenue, Harfield Village, Claremont, Cape Town. Simply select collection at checkout and we will notify you when your order is ready. Please collect within 14 days of receiving your collection notification.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is a flat rate of R95 per order to main centres across South Africa. Free delivery applies automatically on all orders over R1150. For outlying areas, additional charges or extended delivery times may apply.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Once your order is dispatched, please allow 3–5 business days for delivery nationwide. We will send you a tracking notification via email once your order is on its way so you can follow its journey.
Will my order be gift wrapped?
We don’t offer gift wrapping per se, but every Curious Kudu order is lovingly packaged in our signature Curious Kudu tissue paper. It arrives ready to gift.
Can I make changes to my order after placing it?
Please contact us as soon as possible at info@curiouskudu.co.za if you need to make changes. Once an order has been dispatched we are unfortunately unable to make amendments.
Our Products
What age are Curious Kudu products suitable for?
Our Sensory Cubes and Sensory Books are designed for babies from birth and are at their most powerful in the first twelve months - the richest window for sensory discovery. That said, what happens after that is between your child and their imagination.
Are your products safe for newborns?
Yes. All Curious Kudu products are made from non-toxic materials and are designed with baby safety in mind. Products must be used strictly in accordance with the care label and safety guidance attached to each item. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during play. Please refer to the safety instructions on your product’s care label before use.
Are Curious Kudu products made in South Africa?
Yes - proudly and entirely. Curious Kudu products are locally inspired, locally illustrated and handmade in South Africa. Our watercolour illustrations are created by a South African artist and every product is made by hand here at home.
The product I received looks slightly different to the one in the photo. Is this normal?
Yes - because our products are handmade and small-batch, minor variations in colour, texture, stitching and pattern placement can occur between items. These are not defects but rather the natural result of the handmade process. It’s part of what makes each Curious Kudu product one of a kind.
How do I care for my Curious Kudu product?
Please follow the care instructions on the label attached to your specific product. Each product has its own care requirements. Please read your care label carefully before use.
Do you do personalised or custom orders?
Not at present, but watch this space. If and when we offer custom or personalised products, we will announce this via our social channels and email list. Sign up to be the first to know.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We offer a 14-day return window from the date you receive your order. Items must be unused, unwashed, unsoiled and in their original packaging with all tags attached. Items that have been used, chewed, mouthed or washed cannot be returned. Please refer to our full Terms and Conditions for complete details.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please contact us immediately at info@curiouskudu.co.za with a description of the issue and photographs where possible. We aim to respond within 2 business days and will work to make it right as quickly as we can.
How do I start a return?
Please email info@curiouskudu.co.za before sending anything back. Do not return items without first receiving written authorisation from us. Once approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to return your item.
